Will Bayley has been a full time instructor with Krav Maga Swindon since 2012. In that time he has delivered around 5000 hours of Krav Maga instruction, an uncommon weight of experience in the field. As well as his work with civilian classes, Will works with high profile celebrities and various units of the British Forces. In January 2017 he flew to Brunei at the request of Lt Col Charlie Crowe to begin the task of delivering vital hand to hand skills to the soldiers of The 1st Battalion, The Royal Gurkha Rifles. Both the request and the outcome of the training are testament to Will’s professional reputation and expertise both in Krav Maga and the field of real-world self protection. This expertise will also find its way into print this year in the upcoming title Violent Action, which is a deep study and analysis of the effects of combat stress and adrenal physiology, as well as the training methods used to counter these issues. Learning with Will means not only addressing the physical aspects of fighting but the mental as well, meaning you’ll achieve a deeper and more total grounding in the world of self protection.
Outside of Krav Maga, Will is a qualified bodyguard and has worked with A list celebrities and other wealthy clients as a close protection officer and security consultant. He brings this real-world experience into his training. It’s clear he knows what it takes to keep your head in a fight, but you’ll find that he is able to balance this knowledge with a calm and easy to follow teaching style that is suitable for all levels. Year after year, he continues to build on a reputation of excellence and total commitment to the well-being and skill set of his students.
